Privacy Policy

Thank you very much for your interest in our website and the information provided there. Since we take the protection of both the privacy of the users of our homepage and our customers very seriously and observe the legal provisions for the protection of personal data, as contained, for example, in the Federal Data Protection Act and the Telemedia Act, we would like to inform you below how we handle your data:

Data Collection and Data Processing

Insofar as access to our website and retrieval of the files stored there take place, these are logged for statistical purposes and to improve our online offer. The data on the accesses and retrievals do not allow us to draw any conclusions about your person. We store the data in so-called server log files. The logged and stored data are: name of the file accessed, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, message about the success of the access or retrieval, IP address of the requesting device, browser type, operating system used by the visitor.

We only collect personal data ourselves if the site user discloses such data on a voluntary basis, for example in the form of inquiries (for example by electronic mail or by using a contact form on our homepage) or within the framework of legal agreements with us.

Use of Cookies

So-called “cookies” are used on our website. “Cookies” are text files which, at the instigation of the operator of a homepage, are transmitted to the respective page user when the same is called up and temporarily stored on their end device. A distinction is made between two types of “cookies”, namely temporary and permanent. The former are automatically removed from your end device as soon as you close your internet browser. The latter remain stored on your end device even after you close the internet browser you are using and can be recognised by the homepage operator when you next access their homepage.

We ourselves use “cookies” to make it easier for visitors or users of our website to navigate there and to allow them to use certain page functions. By using “cookies”, we are also able to understand the usage behaviour of visitors to our homepage in order to be able to adapt our online offer to this. The data on the usage behaviour of site visitors is collected anonymously.

By changing the settings of your internet browser, you yourself can ensure that you are informed about impending temporary storage of “cookies” on your end device. Furthermore, it is possible to configure the internet browser in such a way that you do not accept individual or all “cookies”.

Please bear in mind that if you do not accept “cookies” used by us, the functionality of our homepage may be impaired under certain circumstances.

Use of Google Analytics

“Google Analytics” is used on our website. This is a web analysis service offered by Google Inc. (www.google.de; address: 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States of America) that uses so-called “cookies”.

“Cookies” are text files which, at the instigation of the operator of a homepage, are transmitted to the respective page user when the same is called up and temporarily stored on their end device, which allows an analysis of the usage behaviour of the page visitor.

A distinction is made between two types of “cookies”, namely temporary and permanent. The former are automatically removed from your end device as soon as you close your internet browser. The latter remain stored on your end device even after you close the internet browser you are using, which the homepage operator can recognise when you next access their homepage.

The information generated by a “cookie” from the web analysis service “Google Analytics” about your use of our website is transferred to a server of Google Inc. in the United States of America and stored there. Google Inc. will use this information to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity for website operators and to provide other services associated with website and internet use to the website operator. “Google Analytics” is used to record, for example: the date and time you accessed our homepage, the homepage you previously accessed, information about the internet browser you are using, the IP address of the requesting device.

We use the “Google Analytics” tracking tool only with activated IP anonymisation. This involves shortening the IP addresses of visitors to our homepage within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address of the page visitor transferred to a server of Google Inc. in the USA and the IP address shortened there.

If required by law or if Google Inc. commissions third parties to process the information collected by “Google Analytics”, Google Inc. will also transmit this data to the third parties commissioned by it. This information is used either anonymously or pseudonymised. Further information on this is available from Google at http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/#information.

The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of the use of the “Google Analytics” service is not merged with other Google data.

By using our website, you agree that Google. Inc. processes the data collected about you during your visit to the homepage in the manner described above and for the aforementioned purpose.

By changing the settings of your internet browser, you can ensure that you are informed about impending temporary storage of “cookies” on your end device. Furthermore, it is possible to configure the internet browser in such a way that you do not accept individual or all “cookies”. We would like to point out that the functionality of our homepage may be impaired if you reject the “cookies” used on our homepage.

Furthermore, you have the option of preventing the collection of information, including the IP address of your end device, by the “Google Analytics Cookie” and the processing of this data by Google Inc. by following the link below and downloading and installing the browser plug-in provided there on your end device: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

An alternative to the possibility described above is that you click on the designated link to prevent collection by “Google Analytics” on our website in the future. If you choose this procedure, a so-called “opt-out cookie” will be stored on your end device. If you remove all “cookies” from your end device, it is necessary for you to click on the above link again to install an “opt-out cookie”.

Use of Personal Data and its Disclosure

The data voluntarily provided to us by site users is used to answer their inquiries and to process contracts concluded with them, as well as for technical administration.

Personal data will only be passed on or otherwise transmitted if this is necessary to answer inquiries received by us or to process contracts that have been concluded and the user has previously declared his or her consent to this.

When processing contracts, it may be necessary for us to provide a shipping company with your address data in order to be able to deliver goods ordered from us to you.

In order to process the payment of fees that have been agreed between you and us for the purchase of goods offered on this site or for the use of other services of our company, it may be necessary for us to pass on the relevant payment data to the bank commissioned with the payment.

If you have decided on a specific payment service as part of an order process, we will make the relevant payment data available to that service.

Please note:
You are entitled to revoke your consent to the use and disclosure of your personal data at any time with effect for the future.

Please also note:
Due to legal regulations, we may be obliged to provide government agencies with information about personal data stored here, insofar as this is necessary for legally prescribed purposes – for example for criminal prosecution or to avert danger.

Right to information

The users of our website and our customers receive free information on request about the data stored here about their person and about the purpose for which this data was stored.

Please send your request, if you want to assert such a request for information, in writing to the address given in the imprint of our homepage.

Deletion of Personal Data

In the following cases, we will delete personal data stored by us:

1.
Data will be deleted as soon as the site user or the customer makes use of their right of revocation with regard to their consent to data storage and data use and the data is no longer required by us to fulfil the purpose pursued by its storage.

Note: We delete stored personal data that has been used in connection with contracts concluded between site users and us for billing and internal accounting purposes after the expiry of the statutory, in particular tax and commercial law retention periods.

2.
Data will be deleted if the storage of personal data proves to be inadmissible under applicable law.

The deletion of personal data is replaced by the blocking of personal data, insofar as

  • statutory, statutory or contractual retention periods prevent deletion (see section 1 above)
  • there is reason to believe that deletion would impair legitimate interests of the data subject
  • deletion is not possible or only possible with disproportionate effort due to the special nature of the storage
  • the site user or customer disputes the accuracy of the personal data stored about them and neither the accuracy nor the inaccuracy can be determined.

Correction of Personal Data

You can request us to correct data stored about you at any time if it is incorrect.

If you wish to make such a correction, please send a written request to the address given in the imprint of our homepage.

Reservation of the Right to Change the Data Protection Declaration

In order to be able to do justice to the applicable legal provisions in your interest and ours, we expressly reserve the right to make changes or updates to this data protection declaration. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you inspect and carefully read the data protection declaration provided on our website at regular intervals.

Other Information

We endeavour to protect personal data from access by third parties within the scope of what is technically and organisationally possible. Complete data security cannot be guaranteed when communicating by means of electronic mail (e-mails), which is why we recommend that you send us confidential information by post.
